Key features
About this accessory
Long-shaft (750mm) variant of the Fuber Global 1.5 — designed for AeroCat catamarans, deep-transom tenders, freediving platforms and small monohulls where a standard 625mm shaft leaves the prop too shallow. Package includes the outboard motor, 1.2kWh 48V lithium battery pack (built into the removable top cover), tiller handle, and 48V charger.
How it stacks up against the competition:
Fuber Global 1.5 Long (us) — 1.5 kW, 750mm long shaft, full IP67 whole unit, A$4,590.
ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus Long — 1.0 kW, 623mm shaft, waterproof head only, A$3,949.
Torqeedo Travel 1103C Long — 1.1 kW, 752mm shaft, waterproof head only, A$3,599.
Remigo One Neo — 1.5 kW peak, adjustable shaft, waterproof head only, around A$4,500.
Where the Long shaft wins: No direct competitor offers a proper 750mm long shaft with 1.5kW continuous power and full-unit IP67 in an integrated-battery package. If you own an AeroCat catamaran, this is effectively the only outboard on the market that suits both the transom depth and the load. The extra A$700 over the short shaft buys the correct geometry for cats — no cavitation, prop stays wet under load.
Ships DHL Express — 7–14 days landed, GST-inclusive, no import duties. In stock now. 3-year manufacturer warranty against defects.
Marine-grade build (where the Fuber pulls ahead of Haswing):
- 316 stainless steel shaft, prop shaft and hardware — not painted mild steel
- High-pressure die-cast aluminium lower unit with marine-grade anti-corrosion coating
- Sealed brushless motor housed in the lower unit — no exposed brushes to corrode
- Full IP67 sealing across the entire unit, tiller and battery cover — not just the head
- Sacrificial zinc anode fitted from factory for saltwater use
This is where the Fuber Global 1.5 genuinely out-specs the Haswing Ultima 3.0 — the Haswing is a great freshwater/estuary trolling motor at a sharp price, but the Fuber is built with the materials you want on the transom of a boat that lives in salt.
What the tiller display shows (real-time, at a glance):
- Battery state of charge (%) — big digits, sunlight-readable
- Remaining runtime at current throttle setting (minutes/hours)
- Current speed setting / throttle position
- Instantaneous power draw (watts) — so you can trim the throttle for best range
- Range remaining (km/nm) based on current draw
- Forward / reverse indicator
- Fault and over-temperature warnings with clear icons
The display is integrated into the tiller head — no separate gauge to wire, no phone-app dependency. Turn the key, glance down, know exactly what the boat is doing.
