The practical reason is that every one of our boats is custom-built to order and shipped straight from the production line to the customer — it never comes to us first for photo shoots or a showroom floor. That is what keeps the price where it is, but it also means a small Australian family-run team leans on technology to answer questions quickly, at any hour, and keep specs and pricing accurate. Boat registration in Australia — how does it work?

Easy Inflatables boats can be registered in any Australian state or territory. You'll typically need a completed registration form from your state authority, your tax invoice, the HIN number (on the back of the transom or CE plate), photo ID, and our Statement of Conformity letter from the boat builder. All our boats comply with the Recreational Craft and Personal Watercraft Directive 2013/53/EU and are correctly listed on the CE plate. In NSW and some other states you'll also need a Boat Code Certificate (typically from $120 via mobile certifiers). Think of it like a pink slip for your car — getting your initial Boat Code Certificate is almost the same process: you take the boat to an authorised inspection station (or have a mobile certifier come to you) and it's checked over. The big difference is that you only have to do it once, at first registration — unlike a car pink slip you do NOT have to repeat the Boat Code inspection every year. We supply every document you need to support the process.

Do I have to pay import taxes on a new boat delivery?

No. For Australian residents, all import duty taxes and GST are included in your purchase price. No hidden fees, no surprises at the door.

Do you ship boats internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Local taxes and import duties usually apply in foreign countries; FedEx or DHL will contact you to finalise any payments owing and arrange delivery directly to your door.

What warranty do you offer?

Aerowave Viper Series boats (Viper 330, 365, Sport 400, Sovereign 400, 430, 450) ship with a 5–7 year hull warranty (years 1–5 comprehensive, years 6–7 major structural coverage) — Viper is the only range with the extended cover. Aerowave Sport / Sport Series, WaveRunner Series 3 (WaveRunner 380) and AeroCat Series (330, 360, 380) are covered by a 5-year hull warranty. Every package ships ready-to-launch: hull, 10 PSI high-pressure air deck floor built with specialised drop-stitch technology and a VALMEX non-slip surface, full Bimini sun top, LockPro launching wheels, oars, foot pump, repair kit and carry bag. How long until I receive my boat?

Most boats are built and dispatched within 2–4 weeks of order confirmation. From 1 August 2026 delivery is included in the price of every boat — there is no separate freight line and no delivery choice to make at checkout. Your boat ships by express courier (DHL Express, FedEx or UPS, chosen by destination), 7–14 days door-to-door after manufacture, on a live trackable waybill, signature on delivery and fully insured. Freight, GST, import duty and customs clearance are all covered, so there are no out-of-pocket expenses on arrival. The only remaining charge is a A$300 remote-zone truck-leg contribution for true remote Australian postcodes (NT, Far North Queensland, remote WA, regional TAS, outback SA). We moved to express courier because the old service gave customers no usable tracking and shipments were repeatedly held in customs; the express carriers clear customs through their own in-house brokers in days.

Can I visit your showroom or shop front?

No — we do not operate a shop front or showroom. Easy Inflatables is an importer and manufacturer: we design and custom-build inflatable boats in partnership with our production facilities overseas, including Hong Kong. Every boat is made to order and shipped directly to your nominated delivery address, so there is no need for a retail showroom. Our Avoca Beach address is for mail and administration only. Please do not visit in person; we are happy to answer questions by phone or email.

What is WavePay and how does the payment plan work?

WavePay is our in-house Pay-in-4 plan for boats — split the price of your hull or full package into 4 fortnightly instalments with no third-party lender, no credit check and no interest. You enter your card once, the first instalment is taken on the day you order, and the remaining three are initiated and charged automatically every 14 days by Stripe — a PCI-compliant payment provider trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Instalments 1 and 2 together form your 50% manufacturing deposit — your boat enters the build queue as soon as instalment 2 clears (day 14) and production runs in parallel with the remaining payments. The completed boat is dispatched after the final (4th) instalment clears. Once a WavePay plan begins, all instalments are non-refundable — production capacity is reserved for your custom boat as soon as instalment 1 clears.
