Aerowave Viper on the water

Our story

We got tired of watching good weekends end at nine in the morning.

Easy Inflatables is run from Avoca Beach on the New South Wales Central Coast by people who have spent their working lives in small boats. This is why the range looks the way it does.

Where it started

On the water, not in a showroom

Easy Inflatables did not start as a boat business. It started with commercial skippers on the New South Wales coast who spent their working lives in small boats and kept watching the same thing happen to everyone around them.

Somebody buys an inflatable. It looks the part. Two or three seasons later the fabric is chalky, a seam is weeping, and the boat spends more time on a patch kit than on the water. The owner does not blame the fabric, because nobody ever told him what the fabric was. He blames inflatables.

What we changed

Start with the hull and work outwards

So we built the range from the fabric outwards instead of the price inwards. Viper and Sovereign hulls are 1500 GSM / 1.2 mm German VALMEX Heavy Plus — around 30% more material in exactly the place boats wear out, with a realistic 10–12 year fabric life under Australian UV, backed by a 7-year hull warranty.

We kept an honest lighter option too. The AeroCat range runs 1100 GSM / 0.9 mm German VALMEX, and the spec is printed on the page rather than buried. If 0.9 mm suits how you use a boat, buy it knowing exactly what it is.

How we sell it

Factory-direct, and the price is the price

There is no showroom floor in our numbers because there is no showroom. Australian delivery is included in the price. Outside Australia we absorb express air freight on our international lanes, and where duty and local VAT/GST apply we tell you before you order rather than letting a carrier surprise you at the door.

The whole model is simple: build it thick, say what it is, put the landed number in writing, and answer the phone afterwards.
