Problem 01Reliability
A glued seam peels apart on the water
This is what seam failure looks like underway: the tube opens, the chamber loses pressure, and the people on board are suddenly dealing with a boat sinking underneath them. A glued seam is two pieces of fabric held by adhesive — and heat, UV and pressure can eventually beat it.
What we changed
Every Aerowave seam is thermo-welded — the fabric fuses into one continuous piece, so there is no adhesive line to let go. And because the hull is 1.2 mm, the weld has a third more material to bite into than a 0.9 mm hull gives it.

Problem 02Durability
Hull fabric thin enough to end a boat in three summers
A mooring pole, a submerged branch, an oyster edge, or just running her up a gravel ramp all season. In a thin hull that is a long tear and a repair bill — and it usually happens on the day you least want it to.
What we changed
We build on 1500 GSM / 1.2 mm German VALMEX® Heavy Plus — around a third more material than the 1100 decitex 0.7 / 0.9 mm hulls this class is built from — with an extra protection layer bonded under the tubes and keel, and a realistic 10–12 year fabric life under Australian UV.

Problem 03Safety
A blowout while the boat sits in the sun
The boat sits in the sun while you have lunch. The air inside expands, the tubes go drum-tight, the hull passes its rated pressure — and a chamber lets go. Nobody was even near the boat.
What we changed
Over-pressure relief valves are fitted as standard on every Aerowave chamber. The boat bleeds off the excess pressure by itself while it sits there, so heat expansion never reaches the seams. Most boats in this category simply do not have them.

Problem 04Performance
A prop that ventilates every time the chop picks up
You load the family in, hit a bit of slop crossing the bar, and the motor screams as the prop comes half out of the water. You back off, and the trip gets slower and wetter.
What we changed
We dropped the transom to 380 mm across the WaveRunner, Viper and AeroCat series. More prop stays in the water, so the boat bites instead of ventilating — and the transom itself is reinforced, commercial-grade and vibration-free.

Where it started

On the water, not in a showroom

Easy Inflatables did not start as a boat business. It started with commercial skippers on the New South Wales coast who spent their working lives in small boats and kept watching the same thing happen to everyone around them.

Somebody buys an inflatable. It looks the part. Two or three seasons later the fabric is chalky, a seam is weeping, and the boat spends more time on a patch kit than on the water. The owner does not blame the fabric, because nobody ever told him what the fabric was. He blames inflatables.

What we changed

Start with the hull and work outwards

So we built the range from the fabric outwards instead of the price inwards. Viper and Sovereign hulls are 1500 GSM / 1.2 mm German VALMEX Heavy Plus — around 30% more material in exactly the place boats wear out, with a realistic 10–12 year fabric life under Australian UV, backed by a 7-year hull warranty.

We kept an honest lighter option too. The AeroCat range runs 1100 decitex / 0.9 mm German VALMEX, and the spec is printed on the page rather than buried. If 0.9 mm suits how you use a boat, buy it knowing exactly what it is.

How we sell it

Factory-direct, and the price is the price

There is no showroom floor in our numbers because there is no showroom. Australian delivery is included in the price. Outside Australia we absorb express air freight on our international lanes, and where duty and local VAT/GST apply we tell you before you order rather than letting a carrier surprise you at the door.

The whole model is simple: build it thick, say what it is, put the landed number in writing, and answer the phone afterwards.
