Thank you for choosing Easy Inflatables and Aerowave Inflatable Boats Australia. We are committed to providing a shipping experience that is clear, professional, and transparent from the time you order through to final delivery.
Important update — sea freight from 1 June 2026
As of 1 June 2026, all eligible new-build inflatable boats and kayaks are shipped to Australia by DDP Sea Freight instead of air freight.
Why we made the change:
- The ongoing conflicts and instability across the Middle East — including the war involving the United States, Israel and Iran — have severely disrupted global air-freight corridors.
- Air-freight rates on the routes that serve our boat factories have surged by approximately 30–40% since the start of the conflict, with carriers adding war-risk surcharges and rerouting around restricted airspace.
- Rather than passing those inflated costs on to our customers, we have moved to sea freight so we can keep boat prices fair and, in the coming weeks, bring our boat prices down.
Your boat is still custom-built to your order and will be delivered to your door — it just travels by ocean container instead of a cargo plane.
What this means for you
- Free DDP Sea-Freight delivery to Australian capital cities on eligible new-build boats and kayaks. All duties, GST and standard local delivery to your door are included — no surprise charges on arrival.
- Estimated delivery: 30–40 days from order date for capital-city addresses, including manufacture and ocean transit. Most orders arrive within this window.
- Outside capital cities — pricing on negotiation. Regional, remote, island and special-access addresses are quoted on a case-by-case basis. You may be asked to cover an additional DHL Express Air-Freight leg for the final delivery, or to collect from a nominated depot. We will always confirm any additional cost in writing before dispatch.
- Optional DHL Air-Freight upgrade is still available for buyers who need their boat urgently. This is a paid upgrade and we will quote it on request.
What you can expect
We believe premium products should come with premium communication. This policy explains shipping inclusions, delivery regions, delivery timeframes, access responsibilities, customs, and important delivery terms so you can order with confidence.
- Free Australia-wide capital-city delivery — eligible new-build boats, kayaks and listed accessories include free DDP Sea Freight to capital-city metropolitan addresses, subject to exclusions.
- Outside capitals on negotiation — regional, remote and special-access locations are quoted individually and may require a paid DHL Air-Freight leg.
- Optional DHL Express — available as a paid upgrade where buyers want faster delivery or where standard sea-freight delivery is not available.
- Custom build focus — every boat and kayak is built to order and delivered according to production and freight schedules.
- International shipping — we also ship worldwide. International freight is quoted separately, with duties and taxes varying by destination.
Shipping & freight costs
DDP Sea-Freight shipping is included in the price of eligible new-build inflatable boats and kayaks delivered to Australian capital-city metropolitan addresses.
For eligible Australian capital-city orders, our standard delivery model is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning Australian import duties, GST and standard door-to-door delivery are included by us unless otherwise stated.
Where a destination falls outside a capital-city metro area — or requires special handling — additional freight charges or an alternative delivery method may apply. This may include a paid DHL Express Air-Freight upgrade, depot collection, ferry transfer or another freight solution. Any such additional charges will be communicated and agreed in writing before dispatch.
Delivery areas
We deliver to most locations across Australia.
- Capital cities (free DDP Sea Freight): Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and Darwin metropolitan delivery zones.
- Outside capital cities (pricing on negotiation): regional towns, rural properties, remote communities, islands, mining regions and any location requiring ferry, tail-lift, depot collection or special handling. We will quote the additional freight — typically a DHL Express Air-Freight final leg — before you commit to the order.
If you are unsure whether your address is treated as capital-city metro, please contact us prior to ordering and we will confirm in writing.
Production & shipping timelines
Custom-built boats & kayaks
All boats and kayaks are manufactured to your order. Manufacturing locations vary by product and may include Europe, Italy, China and Spain. During production you may receive selected progress photos, and on many models we can customise selected fitments — bimini mounting points, davit points, rod holders and selected accessories.
- Estimated build time: generally 10–14 days, with some custom builds taking 14–20 days depending on product type and configuration.
- Australian delivery — capital cities: approximately 30–40 days from order date by DDP Sea Freight, including build and ocean transit.
- Australian delivery — outside capital cities: add the negotiated regional / DHL Air-Freight leg on top of the 30–40 day window. We confirm the final ETA when your order is quoted.
- Holiday period delays: during peak periods such as Chinese New Year, Christmas and New Year, allow an additional 15–20 days.
Accessories shipping
Accessories generally ship within 2–3 days of order where stock is available, with 10–14 days for Australia Post Parcel Post delivery to your door. If accessory stock is not immediately available, we will fulfil your order through one of our overseas suppliers — this can take up to a maximum of 30 days for delivery to your address.
Overseas-supplied accessory orders are typically sent by air freight to Australia and then forwarded by Australia Post Parcel Post or another suitable local carrier. We do not offer Express Post on accessory orders unless separately arranged in writing.
If accessories are purchased together with a boat or kayak package, they may be shipped together with the main order.
Delivery access & courier responsibilities
Access to premises. Delivery drivers must be able to access your nominated premises. If access is denied, unavailable, or unsafe, Easy Inflatables is not responsible for issues arising from failed or delayed delivery attempts. Additional charges may apply where re-delivery, depot collection, or special handling is required.
Courier coordination. Easy Inflatables coordinates with independent logistics and courier providers. Delivery scheduling, timing, and final handover are handled by those carriers once freight has been released into the local delivery system.
Buyer responsibilities:
- Maintain open communication with the logistics or courier company
- Check your inbox and spam folder for delivery notices
- Ensure safe and practical access is available for delivery drivers
- Provide a secure location for large items if you will not be present
- Use the delivery scheduling link provided by the courier where applicable
Shipping, freight & customs terms
- Estimated delivery times are indicative only.
- Shipping delays, freight delays, port congestion, customs clearance delays, and customs inspections are outside the Seller's control.
- Shipping or customs delays do not by themselves remove any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
- Risk transfers upon dispatch, except where Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise.
- The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery.
- Free Australia-wide sea-freight delivery applies to capital-city metropolitan addresses only. Regional and remote deliveries are quoted separately.
- International orders may be subject to destination-country import rules, taxes, duties, brokerage, and clearance costs unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Force majeure, war & global freight disruption
Easy Inflatables is not liable for any shipping delay, freight disruption, customs hold, delivery suspension, or other logistics interruption where the cause is outside our reasonable control. This includes war, armed conflict, hostilities, terrorism, civil unrest, sanctions, embargoes, government action, carrier interruption, port congestion, port closure, customs intervention, freight capacity shortages, factory shutdowns, supplier interruption, raw material shortages, natural disasters, pandemics and other major global supply chain events.
The current conflict in the Middle East has materially affected international air-freight capacity, pricing and routing. Our move to DDP Sea Freight as of 1 June 2026 is a direct response to that disruption and allows us to keep delivery free for Australian capital-city buyers. Where unavoidable additional freight costs do arise (for example on regional or remote deliveries), they may be passed on at cost and will always be communicated clearly before dispatch.
Hidea & Haswing outboards
Hidea outboards are generally dispatched within 2 working days where stock is available. Engines may be routed via Head Office, distributor stock, or supplier dispatch, and may be delivered to Easy Inflatables for pre-inspection and certification checks. Typical delivery timing is approximately 10–14 days but is indicative only.
Hidea outboards incur separate delivery and GST charges because they are supplied by a third party. The Haswing Ultima 3.0 incurs a $250 delivery fee for home delivery; free pickup is available from our office for eligible Haswing and Hidea outboard orders. Optional freight upgrades may be available on request.
International shipping
We ship internationally and can provide a shipping quotation for most boats, kayaks, tenders, catamarans and selected accessories. International freight is generally arranged by quotation based on destination, product dimensions and the most suitable carrier — including DHL, FedEx and other approved international air-freight carriers.
International orders do not automatically include destination-country duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or local delivery charges unless specifically stated in your written quotation.
Certification & registration notes
Our boats are built to recognised European standards and supplied with relevant compliance documentation where applicable. Certification references may include CE standards, ISO 9001 compliance, and approval by Istituto Giordano, Italy. In NSW and some other states, a separate Boat Code Certificate / HIN check may still be required — fees are generally in the range of $92–$150.
