Delivery is included in the price of every boat.

One price, door to door. Inside Australia your price is fully landed — freight, GST, import duty and customs clearance are paid by us before your boat ships, so there is nothing to pay on arrival. To our 44 named international free-delivery destinations we pay the express air freight in full. In New Zealand and our named duty-paid Asia/Pacific countries we also prepay local VAT/GST, import duty and clearance. Buyers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and the United States pay their own import duty and local taxes to the carrier on arrival. Other destinations show freight and border-charge responsibility before payment. Boats travel by DHL Express, FedEx or UPS — whichever carrier serves your address best — fully insured, with real tracking through the express carrier.

Australian designed, shipped from Hong Kong for international orders. Every boat is designed and engineered on the NSW Central Coast, then built to our spec offshore. International orders leave our Hong Kong dispatch hub direct to your door — that is how we keep the landed price competitive. If we routed every boat through Australia first, the freight would roughly double or triple the cost.

Australia, New Zealand and our named duty-paid Asia/Pacific countries: the price shown is duty-paid. On those orders we prepay freight, import duty, VAT and customs clearance before your boat ships and there is nothing to pay on arrival. Everywhere else we still pay the freight in full on named free-freight lanes, and your own import duty and local taxes are payable to the carrier on arrival — disclosed before payment.

  • 50% build deposit is required to lock your production slot. Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Production begins the next business day after your deposit clears.

1. What your price includes

There is no freight line at checkout on a boat or boat package. The price you see is the price that lands: in Australia and across the European Union, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and our Asia/Pacific free-delivery countries we also prepay import duty and local tax before your boat ships. United States buyers pay their own US duty and tariffs on arrival. Other destinations show their verified freight and border-charge terms before payment.

Purpose-built timber export crate used for every Aerowave boat shipment
Crated, not just boxed. From 15 August 2026 every boat leaves the factory in a purpose-built timber export crate like this one. Crating is now the standard our international carriers expect — it means less risk of transit damage and smoother freight compliance, at no extra cost to you.

2. Free-delivery countries (Australia + 44)

On these destinations we absorb the entire express air-freight bill on boats and boat packages. In Australia, New Zealand and our named duty-paid Asia/Pacific lanes we also prepay import duty, local taxes and customs clearance; on all other free-freight lanes those border charges are payable to the carrier on arrival. Accessories ordered on their own are priced separately.

3. Duty & local taxes

Australia, New Zealand and our named duty-paid Asia/Pacific destinations include freight, duty, tax and clearance, with nothing to pay on arrival. All other free-freight lanes — including the EU, the UK, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and the US — include free freight, with import duty and VAT/GST levied by your own customs authority on the declared value plus freight, and DHL, FedEx or UPS collect them from you directly — by email or SMS with a secure payment link, never cash on delivery.

  • Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands: freight, duty, tax and clearance prepaid by us. Nothing to pay on arrival.
  • European Union (all 27), United Kingdom, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines: FREE express freight, but import duty, VAT and customs clearance are payable by you to the carrier on arrival
  • United States: FREE express freight and 15% off the boat, but US import duty, the 25% Section 301 tariff, MPF and brokerage are payable by you to the carrier on arrival
  • Indonesia: FREE express freight, but Indonesian import duty, VAT, local taxes and customs clearance are payable by you to the carrier on arrival
  • Canada: GST 5% (plus provincial) + ≈9.5% duty
  • Everywhere else: as advised by local customs, stated on your quote

We can convert most international orders to an all-inclusive duty-paid price on request — ask for a DDP quote and we will price the duty in writing before you pay.

4. How long it takes

  • Build

    Funds clear in up to 5 days, then about three weeks to build (up to four weeks for Hypalon).

  • Transit

    Up to 2 weeks after the build: 2–3 days to the freight forwarder, 2–3 days to crate, then DHL Express, FedEx or UPS, fully insured.

  • Tracking

    The freight forwarder books the DHL Express or FedEx shipment and emails your tracking link once the waybill is issued — usually about 2 business days after the boat leaves the factory.

Your boat is ready about three weeks after you order (up to about four weeks for Hypalon), then takes up to two more weeks to reach your door. Boats in stock arrive in 2–2.5 weeks. Customs inspections and biosecurity holds are outside our control and can add a few days.

5. Remote Australian postcodes

Australian delivery is included to metropolitan and major regional addresses at no extra cost. A small number of genuinely remote postcodes need an additional road leg beyond the standard route, and we charge a flat A$300 remote delivery fee for those — our own fee, not a courier surcharge. It is shown to you before you pay, never added afterwards.

6. Everywhere else

If your country isn't priced on the product page, use our International Quote form. You'll get a written price within one business day covering freight, transit time and the duty position for your country, in your currency.

A postcode is enough to request a quote. An exact address helps us confirm the final carrier price before payment.

7. Accessories & outboards

Accessories bought with a boat travel in the same consignment at no extra freight cost. Accessories ordered on their own ship separately. International accessory freight and import charges are confirmed at checkout for the destination.

Hidea petrol outboards ship by Australian domestic carrier at a flat A$450 to any capital city; outside capital cities we quote on request. Petrol outboards are subject to dangerous-goods rules and cannot travel on all air routes. Haswing electric outboards ship under the standard framework, with any contribution shown at checkout.

8. Delivery access & tracking

Boats are delivered to kerbside or driveway at the front of the property. The carrier is not required to move the boat through gates, around houses, up stairs or down embankments. Please make sure:

  • An adult is available to sign for the delivery, or
  • You have left a written Authority to Leave and a safe drop location
  • Vehicle access suits a small truck or delivery van

The manufacturer ships through a freight forwarder, who then books the express carrier (DHL Express, FedEx or UPS). The forwarder normally issues the waybill and tracking link within about two business days of factory dispatch; from there you can follow the shipment through customs to your door.

9. Damage, loss & delays

If your boat arrives damaged, email sales@easyinflatables.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. Keep all packaging and send photos of the damage and the outer carton.

Genuinely lost shipments are rebuilt and re-dispatched at no further cost once the carrier's investigation completes (typically 30–60 days).

Freight is occasionally affected by events outside our control — natural disasters, strikes, customs inspections, biosecurity holds, war, sanctions or major weather. Where a delay is caused by such an event the delivery window may extend without entitlement to a refund, beyond your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Older DDP orders (placed on or before 31 July 2026): Those orders were accepted under our previous delivered-duty-paid programme. Once your boat went into production, you agreed in the order contract that customs, quarantine and biosecurity processing could add a lengthy, indeterminate wait beyond the quoted transit time, and that this wait is not grounds for cancellation, refund or compensation. The archived DDP terms below set this out in full.

10. Documents & certification

Every Aerowave boat ships with the documentation required for Australian state and territory registration (Statement of Conformity, HIN, tax invoice). Where state-level certification such as the NSW Boat Code is required, the inspection is the owner's responsibility — we supply every supporting document.

International buyers receive CE conformity documentation to ISO 6185-3 + EU Directive 2013/53/EU, a Statement of Origin, commercial invoice, packing list and HS 8903.10 classification, so clearance is straightforward.

11. FAQ

Is there a freight charge at checkout?

Free-freight lanes include boat delivery. Other destinations show the freight cost before payment. A flat A$300 remote delivery fee may apply to the Australian postcodes listed in section 5; it is shown before you pay.

Does “free delivery” mean I pay nothing at all on arrival?

In Australia, the European Union, New Zealand, the UK and our named Asia/Pacific duty-paid lanes, yes — freight, import duty, local tax and clearance are included. In the US, freight is free, but you pay US duty, tariffs and clearance on arrival. Other destinations show their own terms before payment.

Why don’t you include duty in every price?

Duty and VAT are set by the local government and can change between order and arrival. Collecting them at checkout would mean either over-charging you and holding your money, or under-charging and leaving a bill at the border. Where we can pre-pay them reliably, we do, and those countries are listed in section 2.

Can I have an all-inclusive duty-paid price anyway?

Yes. If your country is not in the free-delivery list, ask for a DDP quote and we will price the duty in writing before you pay, so the number on your invoice is the last number you see.

What if I refuse the carrier’s duty invoice?

Every boat is custom-built, so refusing the duty invoice does not entitle you to a refund of the boat. The shipment is held or returned at the buyer's cost, and outbound freight, return freight and storage remain payable. Refunds are issued where the Australian Consumer Law requires them.

12. Older orders (placed on or before 31 July 2026)

Before 1 August 2026 we offered free economy sea freight and a flat A$600 express air option. Both closed to new orders on 31 July 2026 and neither applies to anything ordered since.

If your order predates 1 August 2026, read this

Sea-freight consignments were handled by independent forwarding agents, their carriers, a customs broker and a last-mile courier. Tracking was limited to agent reference numbers, and the final leg after customs could add a further 4–8 weeks.

Contractual customs / biosecurity wait: once your boat went into production under the old DDP programme, you agreed in the order contract that customs, quarantine and biosecurity processing could add a lengthy, indeterminate wait beyond the quoted transit time. That wait is not a delivery failure, is not grounds for cancellation of a custom-built boat, and does not give rise to a refund, discount or compensation. This was a specific term of the DDP contract you accepted at order.

Customs and biosecurity holds sit outside our control and outside the estimated transit time — current Australian biosecurity processing on marine goods is running long, and some consignments have been held for a month or more with full forwarder tracking.
