The fine print
- Who can join?
- Anyone in the world, free. You don't have to own a boat — join at /rewards/join and get your digital card instantly. Customers with an Aerowave boat currently in production or shipping are auto-enrolled as Captain.
- Is there a physical card?
- No. Aerowave Rewards is 100% digital. Your card lives in your account with a working barcode and QR code — screenshot it, add it to Apple/Google Wallet, or quote the 16-digit member number as your discount code.
- How long does my membership last?
- 2 years from the date your card is issued. Every accessory or boat order you place inside that window automatically extends your membership another 2 years. If your card expires without any activity you can rejoin as a free member — or upgrade straight to full boat-owner benefits by buying a boat.
- Free members vs boat owners — what's the difference?
- Free members get 10% off accessories and earn points on every accessory order. Boat owners get everything a free member gets, PLUS 10% off Hidea outboards and up to A$650 off their next Aerowave boat. Owner-only rewards are reserved for people who've actually bought a boat — that's how we keep the program self-funding.
- How do I use my discount at checkout?
- Sign in to your account before checkout — your accessory / next-boat discount is auto-applied. Points redemptions appear as a toggle in the cart.
- Can I stack a discount code with my member discount?
- No — one discount per order. You'll always get whichever gives you the better price automatically.
- When do points expire?
- 24 months from your last activity. Any earn or redeem action resets the clock — so as long as you're active, your points stay live.
- What if I refund an order?
- Points earned on that order are reversed. Points earned on other orders stay untouched.
- Are boats still non-refundable?
- Yes — boats remain non-refundable per our standard terms. Points earned on a boat unlock 14 days after dispatch to prevent abuse.
