AeroWave AeroCat 360 Inflatable Catamaran.
The story behind the build
AeroWave AeroCat 360 — 3.6m Lightweight Inflatable Catamaran
Same catamaran ride, same layout, lighter fabric, sharper price.
You are paying for the boat, not the badge.
Built for
- Families wanting catamaran stability at a monohull inflatable price
- Estuary, river, harbour and sheltered-bay day-boating
- Yacht owners who want a lightweight 3.6m tender
- Buyers upsizing from a 3.3m who want a bigger catamaran without stepping up to the heavier fabric
Why this boat
- Thermo-welded seams, not glued
- True twin-hull catamaran ride — drier and more stable than a same-length monohull inflatable
- 8–10 PSI high-pressure air deck — rigid, packable
- Over-pressure safety valves on every chamber
- CE certified to ISO 6185-3 and EU Directive 2013/53/EU
Backed by a 5-Year Hull Warranty
Comprehensive cover on hull fabric, welded seams, valves, air deck and fittings.
AeroCat or Viper — which is right for you?
Both boats use genuine German VALMEX® fabric, so you're getting premium material either way. The real question is how you'll use it — not one being "good" and the other "bad."
The AeroCat runs a lighter 1100 GSM / 0.9 mm VALMEX®. It keeps overall weight down — easier to handle, easier to pack away, easier to lift on and off a vehicle or store between trips. If you're heading out on weekends, using it as a tender, fishing, camping or general recreational boating, the AeroCat gives you a great balance of weight, performance and durability.
The Viper Series steps up to our heavier 1500 GSM / 1.2 mm commercial-grade VALMEX®. The extra material adds abrasion resistance and service life — better suited to owners who use their boat very frequently, launch from rough beaches or ramps, fish around oyster leases or rocky shorelines, or simply want the toughest construction we build. You're looking at roughly 5–7 kg extra depending on configuration.
Neither is better — it comes down to how you plan to use the boat. For most recreational owners the AeroCat is the sweet spot. If you're expecting very heavy use, or you simply prefer the peace of mind of the heavier commercial-grade fabric, step up to the Viper.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the Viper and the AeroCat?
Both ranges use premium German VALMEX® fabric — the difference is thickness. Viper hulls use the heavier 1.2mm VALMEX® for maximum durability, while AeroCat hulls use a lighter 0.9mm VALMEX® so they fold smaller and pack lighter. That means the AeroCat packs down more easily into either the Bluewater heavy-duty kit bag or the standard Oxford cloth carry bag, making it simpler for one person to load, launch and store — while keeping the same twin-hull catamaran stability.
What motor suits the AeroCat 360?
The AeroCat 360 is rated up to 20HP 4-stroke short shaft, with 15–20HP recommended for most buyers depending on load and use.
Is delivery included?
Yes — every boat includes Express Delivery Credit included — Australia-wide, approximately 30 days door-to-door. Our new direct Hong Kong → Sydney sea service runs about 14 days, then Australian customs and biosecurity clearance, then courier delivery to your door. Your price includes GST, import duties and standard delivery — no surprise charges on arrival. Optional DHL Express air-freight upgrade is available for faster delivery, and remote-area addresses may incur a checkout-calculated surcharge.
What warranty do I get?
Every AeroCat is backed by our 5-Year Australian Structural Warranty — supported locally, not just an import promise.
Why is it priced below comparable 0.9mm imports?
We import direct and price the AeroCat ~$500 below comparable 0.9mm catamarans on the Australian market, while still including the Bimini, pump, wheel kit and accessory package options.

Same 0.9 mm fabric class.
Better landed price.
AeroCat ships on 1100 GSM / 0.9 mm VALMEX® PVC — the same genuine German-woven fabric class used by comparable premium catamarans. The difference is value: AeroCat gives customers the same 0.9 mm VALMEX® class with a sharper landed price.
- 1100 GSM / 0.9 mm VALMEX® PVC
- 3–7 year typical service life on the coast
- Same fabric class — compare the landed price

- 1100 GSM / 0.9 mm genuine German-woven VALMEX® PVC
- Same 3–7 year service-life class as comparable 0.9 mm VALMEX® catamarans
- Landed cheaper than the comparable premium catamaran
- AeroCat keeps the fabric honest and wins on value
