Do not use the lithium pump for final AirDeck pressure; it will not bring the floor to 8–10 PSI. The lithium pump is suitable for the boat tubes, where the over-inflation valves control excess pressure.

Factory confirms hull colour, length, transom spec, floor type and fittings against your order before fabric is cut.

Seam and weld inspection
Every main seam, transom joint and chamber bond is pressure-tested and visually inspected before full inflation.
Transom and fitting stress check
Transom height, backing plate and motor-mount geometry are verified against the rated HP max for your model.
Chamber inflation test
Each air chamber is inflated to operating PSI and held to confirm no creep, leaks or valve faults before the boat is signed off.
Pre-shipment photo pack
We receive factory photos of your actual boat before it leaves, so any issue is caught before freight, not after.
Final pack-list audit
Seats, bags, Bimini, pump and accessories are checked off against your configured package list before the carton seals.

What motor suits the Viper 400 Sovereign?
The Sovereign is rated up to 40HP 4-stroke short shaft, with 30HP 4-stroke short shaft recommended for many buyers depending on load and use.
Why does the 8-10 PSI maximum air deck matter?
A higher-pressure air deck gives a firmer, more confidence-inspiring underfoot feel when standing, fishing, loading gear or moving around on board.
Is delivery included?
For Australian customers, standard delivery is included; a A$300 fee may apply to remote postcodes, shown in the postcode check above. For international customers, freight and import charges depend on your destination. Premium German VALMEX® 7321 Heavy Plus 1.2mm commercial-grade fabric, thermo-welded seams, over-inflation safety valves, strong support and a practical package spec all help suit real Australian use.
Can I get the Sovereign with aluminium floorboards instead of the air deck?
Yes — from 15 June 2026 the Sovereign 400 is available with marine-grade aluminium floorboards and an inflatable keel as a +$500 upgrade. The standard build still ships with the 8-10 PSI maximum high-pressure air deck (77kg). The aluminium floorboard + keel option adds rigidity for serious fishing, standing casting and heavier loads, and brings the all-up boat weight to roughly 92kg. Choose your preferred floor on the product page before adding to cart — if no option is selected, the standard air deck is supplied.
How do I inflate the hard AirDeck floor to 8–10 PSI?
Use the lithium pump only for the first minute, until the floor reaches approximately 2–2.5 PSI. Then change to the supplied manual pump to reach the recommended 8–10 PSI. Do not use the lithium pump to try to reach final AirDeck pressure; it will not work. The lithium pump is suitable for the boat tubes, and their over-inflation valves control excess pressure.
Why is a Viper slightly heavier?
We use 1500 GSM / 1.2 mm VALMEX® Heavy Plus fabric and a reinforced 4 mm aluminium transom. The extra strength helps the hull withstand underwater knocks and keeps a four-stroke outboard securely supported.
How do I anchor a Viper?
Attach the anchor line to the front of the bow bridle with a suitable stainless-steel shackle. There is also a D-ring beneath the bow skirt. Stow a folding scud-style anchor, chain and rope in a black milk-crate style container — water drains straight through it, which is ideal with wet line and rope aboard.
Are the catamarans stable? What are they like in choppy conditions?
Yes — extremely stable. A catamaran sits on top of the water rather than cutting through it, which makes it a steadier, more stable platform. In choppy conditions it will feel a little bouncier than a monohull, as a monohull's V-hull cuts through the water. If you're regularly out in heavy chop, we'd recommend a monohull instead. For most conditions, the catamaran is the more stable and compact choice.
