Why we use AI — and how to check we're real
It's the question we get asked most at the moment, so here's the honest answer in one place, with the three links that let you check for yourself.
Yes — some of what we send you is AI-assisted. We'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. It's the way the world is going, and like every business trying to market its products in 2026, we use the tools that are available.
The practical reason is this: every one of our boats is custom-built to order. Your hull is made to your spec and shipped straight from the production line to your door — it never comes to us first for a photo shoot or a showroom floor. That's what keeps the price where it is. It also means we don't have a warehouse full of stock to photograph, so we lean on technology to answer questions quickly, keep specs and pricing accurate, and get back to you at odd hours when a small Australian family-run team otherwise couldn't.
What is not AI: the boats, the fabric, the seams, the warranty, the people who pick up the phone, and the Australian owners who left our reviews. Those are all real, and you don't have to take our word for it.
