Factory-to-door quality control and compliance checks
Before your boat leaves the factory, we run an eight-point quality control and compliance check against your exact order — fabric, seams, transom, inflation, fittings and pack list — so what arrives at your address is what you paid for.
Build sheet lock
Factory confirms hull colour, length, transom spec, floor type and fittings against your order before fabric is cut.
Fabric spec verification
We cross-check the VALMEX® GSM and thickness rating against the signed-off sample so the hull matches what was promised.
Seam and weld inspection
Every main seam, transom joint and chamber bond is pressure-tested and visually inspected before full inflation.
Transom and fitting stress check
Transom height, backing plate and motor-mount geometry are verified against the rated HP max for your model.
Chamber inflation test
Each air chamber is inflated to operating PSI and held to confirm no creep, leaks or valve faults before the boat is signed off.
Pre-shipment photo pack
We receive factory photos of your actual boat before it leaves, so any issue is caught before freight, not after.
Final pack-list audit
Seats, bags, Bimini, pump and accessories are checked off against your configured package list before the carton seals.
Door-step arrival check
You inspect on delivery. If anything does not match the compliance pack, we sort it — no arguments, no run-around.

Frequently asked questions
How do I inflate the hard AirDeck floor to 8–10 PSI?
Use the lithium pump only for the first minute, until the floor reaches approximately 2–2.5 PSI. Then change to the supplied manual pump to reach the recommended 8–10 PSI. Do not use the lithium pump to try to reach final AirDeck pressure; it will not work. The lithium pump is suitable for the boat tubes, and their over-inflation valves control excess pressure.
How long does the VALMEX® fabric actually last?
10–12 years of real-world use. It's the same German-made 1500 GSM / 1.2mm (or 1100 decitex / 0.9mm on AeroCat) fabric used in commercial and rescue boats.
Is it CE certified?
Yes — all Aerowave catamarans are CE certified to ISO 6185-3 and EU Directive 2013/53/EU. Registration requirements vary by state, so check with your state authority when you register it.
How does delivery work?
Delivery is included in the price. Your boat ships by express courier — DHL Express, FedEx or UPS — up to 2 weeks door-to-door after manufacture, with freight, GST, duty and customs clearance covered. No out-of-pocket expenses on arrival, live trackable waybill, signature on delivery and fully insured. The only extra is a flat A$300 remote delivery fee on a handful of true remote AU postcodes — our own charge, not a courier surcharge. International orders: 14–21 day build + 7–10 day express — roughly 3–5 weeks door-to-door.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. WavePay lets you split the boat into 4 fortnightly payments at 0% interest — no credit check, no fees. Otherwise pay by credit card at checkout, choose a 50% build deposit, or pay by bank transfer (email us for an invoice).
What's the warranty?
5 years hull warranty, plus lifetime seam guarantee. Replacement parts held in Australia and our Hong Kong hub — shipped DHL Express to your door.
Is it refundable?
Boats are custom-built to order and non-refundable (WavePay instalments 1–2 fund manufacturing). Accessories are refundable within 14 days. Australian Consumer Law rights always apply.
